Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy describes the rules for processing information about you, including personal data and cookies.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), known in Polish as RODO, is a European Union regulation that entered into force on 25 May 2018. GDPR introduced new rules for the protection of personal data in the European Union. The Jankowo Park company website complies with these rules in accordance with the terms set out below:

  1. Principle of lawfulness, fairness and transparency: Personal data may be processed only in a lawful, fair and transparent manner in relation to the data subject.

The rights of data subjects: GDPR grants a number of rights to individuals whose data is processed, including the right to access their personal data, the right to rectification, the right to be forgotten (data erasure), the right to data portability, and others.

  1. Consent: Where the processing of personal data is based on consent, such consent must be given in a clear and unambiguous manner.
  2. Data controller obligations: Data controllers are required, in certain cases, to appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO), monitor compliance with GDPR, and report personal data breaches.
  3. Transfers to third countries: The transfer of personal data to countries outside the EU or EEA is permitted only under specific conditions and must meet defined criteria.
  4. Personal data breaches: In the event of a personal data breach, data controllers are obliged to report the incident to the supervisory authority and notify the individuals whose data may be affected if the breach is likely to adversely impact their rights and freedoms.

  1. Right of access: You have the right to access your personal data that is being processed. You may obtain a copy of your data at any time. This can be done using Google tools or other tools intended for this purpose. For security reasons, you may be subject to verification. Once successfully verified, you will be able to download your data with appropriate safeguards in place.
  2. Right to erasure: You have the right to request the deletion of your data. If, after receiving your request, it turns out that we are legally obliged to continue processing your data, we will inform you accordingly.
  3. Right to rectification: You may exercise your right to rectification if you notice that your personal data is inaccurate or incomplete. In such a case, we will correct any inconsistencies or errors in the data we process and complete it where it is incomplete.
  4. Right to restriction of processing and storage: At your request, we will restrict the processing of your data solely to storage. We will cease any other processing activities.
  5. Right to data portability: At your request, we will provide you with your data; please remember to specify who should receive it.
  6. Right to object to profiling: You may object at any time to the storage of your data and request its deletion. Before doing so, please be aware that this will result in your email address being removed from the data held by the jankowopark.pl service and the loss of your entire activity history. After exercising this right, log out of jankowopark.pl on all devices and clear your cookies.
  7. Right to object to direct marketing: You have the right to object to direct marketing.

  5. The Website uses personal data for the following purposes: managing newsletters, managing the comments system, handling enquiries via forms, and presenting offers or information.

  6. The Website collects information about users and their behaviour through data voluntarily provided in forms (which is entered into the Operator’s systems) and by storing cookies (“cookies”) on users’ end devices.

SELECTED DATA PROTECTION MEASURES APPLIED BY THE OPERATOR

  1. Areas where data is entered are protected by a secure transmission layer (SSL certificate). This means that personal data entered on the website is encrypted on the user’s computer and can be read only on the destination server.
  2. Personal data stored in the database is encrypted in such a way that only the Operator holding the key can read it. This provides protection in the event of a security breach of the server database.
  3. User data is stored in encrypted form. Hashing is a one-way function that cannot be reversed, which is the current standard for storing user data.
  4. The Operator periodically changes its administrative passwords.
  5. Data protection includes regular data backups performed by the Operator.
  6. An important aspect of data protection is the regular updating of all software used by the Operator to process personal data, including regular updates of development components.

YOUR RIGHTS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE USE OF DATA

  1. In certain situations, the Controller has the right to disclose your personal data to other recipients if this is necessary to fulfil the Controller’s obligations. This applies to the hosting provider under a data processing agreement and to authorised public authorities.
  2. Your personal data is processed by the Controller no longer than necessary for purposes related to the provision of the service. In the case of marketing data, it will not be processed for longer than 3 years.
  3. You have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability.
  4. You have the right to object to the processing of personal data for the purposes of the Controller’s legitimate interests, including profiling. However, this right cannot be exercised if there are compelling legitimate grounds for processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, in particular where processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
  5. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) regarding the Controller’s actions.
  6. Providing personal data is voluntary.
  7. Automated decision-making, including profiling, may be carried out in relation to you for the purposes of direct marketing conducted by the Controller.
  8. Personal data is not transferred to third countries within the meaning of data protection regulations. This means we do not transfer it outside the European Union.

INFORMATION IN FORMS

  1. The Website collects information voluntarily provided by the user, including personal data, if such data is provided.
  2. The Website may record information about connection parameters (timestamp, IP address).
  3. In some cases, the Website may store information that facilitates linking the data entered in a form with the email address of the user completing the form. In such a case, the user’s email address appears in the URL of the page containing the form.
  4. Data provided in the form is processed for a purpose resulting from the nature of the form, e.g. for registering for a newsletter service, etc. Each time, the context and description of the form clearly indicate what it is used for.

ADMINISTRATOR LOGS

Information about users’ behaviour on the Website may be logged. This data is used for the purpose of administering the service.

KEY MARKETING TECHNIQUES

  1. The Operator may use statistical analysis of website traffic via Google Analytics (Google Inc., headquartered in the USA). The Operator does not provide the service provider with personal data, only anonymised information. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s end device. The above-mentioned company has the exclusive right to operate the Website and is its Owner and Administrator.   3. The Website operates in accordance with applicable laws and with due respect for accepted standards of conduct, in particular taking into account standards relating to quality and customer service.

  5. The Terms and Conditions are made available continuously on the jankowopark.pl website in a manner that enables Customers to obtain, reproduce, and review their content.

DEFINITIONS

  1. Terms and Conditions – these Terms and Conditions set out the obligations and rights of the Parties to the Agreement;

  2. Party – a Party to the Agreement is a Website Customer; where the term “Party” is used, it means a Customer visiting the Website;

  3. Distance contract – a contract concluded with a Customer within an organised system of concluding distance contracts, without the simultaneous physical presence of the Parties, using exclusively one or more means of distance communication up to and including the moment the contract is concluded;

  5. Customer – a natural person, a legal person, or an organisational unit without legal personality that is granted legal capacity by law, entitled to use the Website;

  6. Personal Data – any information identifying the Customer, as well as the device IP address, location data, online identifier, including information collected via cookies and other similar technologies, collected by the Website and processed in accordance with the rules set out in these Terms and Conditions and the Website’s Privacy Policy.

  7. Newsletter – an electronic distribution service provided by the Website via email, enabling all users of the service to automatically receive periodic content containing information about the activities of Jankowo Park sp. z o.o. and events; provided on the terms described in these Terms and Conditions;

  8. Payment Operator – the entity indicated on the Website that handles electronic payment systems using electronic funds, payment cards, and hardware wallets;

  9. Website – the IT solution available at  www.jankowopark.pl and the domain’s subpages;

  10. Agreement – an agreement concluded by users with the Jankowo Park sp. z o.o. Website upon commencing use of the Website and accepting the Terms and Conditions. “Agreement” also means a distance contract;

  11. Services – any services available electronically within the Website, in particular enabling the User to use the Website;

  12. User – a natural person or a legal person who has concluded an agreement for the provision of electronic services available within the Website, under the terms set out in the Terms and Conditions and applicable laws;

  13. Information – any type of message sent via electronic communication channels containing information about the activities of Jankowo Park sp. z o.o., as well as other information such as surveys, polls, and exchanges of opinions;

GENERAL PROVISIONS

  1. The purpose of the Website is to enable the Company to provide information about its activities by offering electronic content;

    In matters not governed by these Terms and Conditions, the relevant provisions of law applicable in the territory of the Republic of Poland shall apply, in particular the Act of 23 April 1964 – the Civil Code (Journal of Laws No. 16, item 93, as amended), the Act of 30 May 2014 on consumer rights (Journal of Laws 2014, item 827), and the Act of 29 August 1997 on the protection of personal data (consolidated text: Journal of Laws 2002 No. 101, item 926, as amended);

    Content available on the Website, e.g. training courses offered through the Website, does not constitute a commercial offer within the meaning of the Civil Code;

    Prices presented on the Website do not constitute a commercial offer within the meaning of the Civil Code;

    All rights to the Website, including economic copyrights and intellectual property rights to its name, internet domain, and materials, belong to the Website, and their use must comply with these Terms and Conditions;

    The Website is made available by the Service Provider via the Internet as a resource of an IT system;

    Use of the Website means any activity that results in becoming familiar with the content presented on the Website;

    The User is obliged to use the Website in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and applicable law;

    Using the Website requires reading and accepting these Terms and Conditions;

    It is prohibited to use the Website in a manner contrary to law, accepted standards of conduct, or that infringes the personal rights of third parties or the Service Provider’s interests, in particular: providing or making available unlawful content or content containing malicious code, malware, or any components intended to damage or limit the Website’s functionality; impersonating other Users or entities, or providing false data; placing advertisements for any products or services on the Website without the Service Provider’s written consent;

NEWSLETTER SERVICE

  1. Before giving consent to use the Newsletter service, you should read these Terms and Conditions carefully;
  2. The Newsletter service is provided only to persons who have accepted the Terms and Conditions and given consent for the service on www.jankowopark.pl;
  3. The Newsletter service is provided free of charge and for an indefinite period, until the User unsubscribes;
  4. As part of the Newsletter service, the Service Provider sends an electronic newsletter to the email address provided by the User, informing them about updates related to the Website’s subject matter;
  5. The User may unsubscribe from the Newsletter service at any time. The subscription can be cancelled by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link located in the footer of each email sent;
  6. The User’s personal data is processed for as long as the consent to process personal data remains valid, solely for the purposes of the Website, and is not shared with other recipients, in particular outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or with international organisations;

USE OF THE WEBSITE

  1. To use the Website, including browsing it, you need a computer, laptop, or other portable device with access to the Internet, email, and a web browser, and you must enable the saving of cookies and the use of JavaScript in your web browser;
  2. User participation is possible only after registering on the Website. User registration and use of the Website are free of charge;
  3. Browsing the Website’s content does not require registration.

PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

  1. The User’s use of the Website involves the Service Provider processing the User’s Personal Data to the extent necessary to provide the Services offered;

Users’ Personal Data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR), as well as the Act of 10 May 2018 on the protection of personal data (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1000);
  3. The User has the right to access their data, rectify it, request its erasure, as well as the right to restrict processing, object to the processing of personal data, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if the data is processed in breach of legal requirements. The data can be viewed and changed within the Website by contacting the Service Provider at the email address provided;
  4. Detailed rules concerning the processing of personal data are set out in the Privacy Policy available on the Website;

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

  1. By using the Website and accessing the content presented on it, the User is obliged to comply with these Terms and Conditions and generally applicable laws, and not to take any actions that infringe intellectual property rights;
  2. The appearance of the Website and the content published on it, including in particular the content of Offers—regardless of form—such as graphic and text materials, logos, layout, and the software enabling its operation, are protected by intellectual property rights, including copyright, of the Service Provider or third parties. Any use of such content without the prior written consent of the entitled parties is prohibited, both within other websites and outside the Internet;
  3. Photographs of content made available on the Website are subject to the copyright of Jankowo Park sp. z o.o. or its Partners or Supporting Members. Any claims related to infringement of copyright in photographs of the Facilities should be directed directly to the Service Provider;

FINAL PROVISIONS

  1. These Terms and Conditions are effective as of 12 February 2026;
  2. The Service Provider reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time. Such amendments may be caused in particular by changes in legislation or in the practice of applying the law, the development of Internet technologies, or changes to the rules for using the Website. The new Terms and Conditions enter into force on the date they are published on the Website on the Terms and Conditions subpage;
  3. Agreements concluded before the amendment of the Terms and Conditions are governed by the version in force on the date the Agreement was concluded;
  4. A change to the Service Provider’s contact details included in the Terms and Conditions, or a change in its details resulting from a change in the legal form of its business activity, does not constitute an amendment to the Terms and Conditions;
  5. These Terms and Conditions do not exclude or limit any rights of a User who is a Consumer or a Trader with consumer rights that they are entitled to under mandatory provisions of law. In the event of a conflict between the Terms and Conditions and mandatory provisions of law granting Consumers or Traders with consumer rights specific entitlements, those provisions shall prevail;
  6. The Service Provider reserves the right to introduce changes to the content available on the Website;
  7. The Service Provider shall not be liable for any damage caused by Users’ infringement—while using the Website—of third-party rights, for damage resulting from disruptions in the operation of the Website or its unavailability caused by reasons beyond the Service Provider’s control or resulting from events the Service Provider could not prevent, or for any other damage caused by the User’s failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions;
