GENERAL INFORMATION
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), known in Polish as RODO, is a European Union regulation that entered into force on 25 May 2018. GDPR introduced new rules for the protection of personal data in the European Union. The Jankowo Park company website complies with these rules in accordance with the terms set out below:
- Principle of lawfulness, fairness and transparency: Personal data may be processed only in a lawful, fair and transparent manner in relation to the data subject.
- Purpose limitation: Personal data may be collected and processed only for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and must not be further processed in a manner incompatible with those purposes.
- Data minimisation: Personal data must be adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed.
- Accuracy: Personal data must be accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date. Any data that is inaccurate or outdated should be erased or rectified.
- Storage limitation: Personal data may be stored only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes for which it is processed.
- Integrity and confidentiality: Personal data must be processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security, including protection against unauthorised access, loss, damage, or disclosure.
- Accountability and transparency: Entities processing personal data must document compliance with GDPR and be prepared to provide information to supervisory authorities upon request.
The rights of data subjects: GDPR grants a number of rights to individuals whose data is processed, including the right to access their personal data, the right to rectification, the right to be forgotten (data erasure), the right to data portability, and others.
- Consent: Where the processing of personal data is based on consent, such consent must be given in a clear and unambiguous manner.
- Data controller obligations: Data controllers are required, in certain cases, to appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO), monitor compliance with GDPR, and report personal data breaches.
- Transfers to third countries: The transfer of personal data to countries outside the EU or EEA is permitted only under specific conditions and must meet defined criteria.
- Personal data breaches: In the event of a personal data breach, data controllers are obliged to report the incident to the supervisory authority and notify the individuals whose data may be affected if the breach is likely to adversely impact their rights and freedoms.
Data subject rights:
- Right of access: You have the right to access your personal data that is being processed. You may obtain a copy of your data at any time. This can be done using Google tools or other tools intended for this purpose. For security reasons, you may be subject to verification. Once successfully verified, you will be able to download your data with appropriate safeguards in place.
- Right to erasure: You have the right to request the deletion of your data. If, after receiving your request, it turns out that we are legally obliged to continue processing your data, we will inform you accordingly.
- Right to rectification: You may exercise your right to rectification if you notice that your personal data is inaccurate or incomplete. In such a case, we will correct any inconsistencies or errors in the data we process and complete it where it is incomplete.

- Right to data portability: At your request, we will provide you with your data; please remember to specify who should receive it.
- Right to object to profiling: You may object at any time to the storage of your data and request its deletion. Before doing so, please be aware that this will result in your email address being removed from the data held by the jankowopark.pl service and the loss of your entire activity history. After exercising this right, log out of jankowopark.pl on all devices and clear your cookies.
- Right to object to direct marketing: You have the right to object to direct marketing.
GENERAL PRINCIPLES
This policy applies to the website operating at the following URL: jankowopark.pl.
Właścicielem serwisu i Administratorem danych osobowych jest Spółka Jankowo Park.
The owner of the website and the controller of personal data is Jankowo Park Sp. z o.o.: info@jankowopark.pl.
The controller of your personal data voluntarily provided on the Website is the Operator.
The Website uses personal data for the following purposes: managing newsletters, managing the comments system, handling enquiries via forms, and presenting offers or information.
The Website collects information about users and their behaviour through data voluntarily provided in forms (which is entered into the Operator’s systems) and by storing cookies (“cookies”) on users’ end devices.
SELECTED DATA PROTECTION MEASURES APPLIED BY THE OPERATOR
- Areas where data is entered are protected by a secure transmission layer (SSL certificate). This means that personal data entered on the website is encrypted on the user’s computer and can be read only on the destination server.
- Personal data stored in the database is encrypted in such a way that only the Operator holding the key can read it. This provides protection in the event of a security breach of the server database.
- User data is stored in encrypted form. Hashing is a one-way function that cannot be reversed, which is the current standard for storing user data.
- The Operator periodically changes its administrative passwords.
- Data protection includes regular data backups performed by the Operator.
- An important aspect of data protection is the regular updating of all software used by the Operator to process personal data, including regular updates of development components.
HOSTING
The Website is hosted (technically maintained) on the Operator’s servers: lh.pl.
YOUR RIGHTS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE USE OF DATA
- In certain situations, the Controller has the right to disclose your personal data to other recipients if this is necessary to fulfil the Controller’s obligations. This applies to the hosting provider under a data processing agreement and to authorised public authorities.
- Your personal data is processed by the Controller no longer than necessary for purposes related to the provision of the service. In the case of marketing data, it will not be processed for longer than 3 years.
- You have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability.
- You have the right to object to the processing of personal data for the purposes of the Controller’s legitimate interests, including profiling. However, this right cannot be exercised if there are compelling legitimate grounds for processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, in particular where processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
- You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) regarding the Controller’s actions.
- Providing personal data is voluntary.
- Automated decision-making, including profiling, may be carried out in relation to you for the purposes of direct marketing conducted by the Controller.
- Personal data is not transferred to third countries within the meaning of data protection regulations. This means we do not transfer it outside the European Union.
INFORMATION IN FORMS
- The Website collects information voluntarily provided by the user, including personal data, if such data is provided.
- The Website may record information about connection parameters (timestamp, IP address).
- In some cases, the Website may store information that facilitates linking the data entered in a form with the email address of the user completing the form. In such a case, the user’s email address appears in the URL of the page containing the form.
